If you want to attach moss vertically?
We sell moss stitched to 2 supports in 10x20cm carpets
- Hessian cloth for extra use which can be stapled to a tree! Or glued to wall with out hurting the roots! this allows the moss time to grow over its hessian cloth and new growth will attach naturally. Hessian cloth is biodegradable.
- Plastic mesh for interior use, terrariums living walls and moss art, the plastic mesh can be glued to glass or rock, or any supports, without hurting the mosses roots. And hey presto! you have an instant moss wall!

Dry shoots of P. arboris-vitae have the leaves lying appressed to each other and curved down, giving them a smoother appearance than other Porella species.
Indeed, leaves near the shoot tips sometimes curve down so much that the tips appear almost tubular.
The size (shoots 1.5–4 mm wide, with leaves up to 1.7 mm wide and 2 mm long) and dark green color are typical of Porella, although P. arboris-vitae is often a rich reddish-brown and glossier than the others.
Two features are diagnostic: the lobules and under leaves on the underside of the shoot are toothed, and the plants taste very hot and peppery/bitter when nibbled on the tip of the tongue (nibble just a few millimetres from the shoot tip). -
