  Lophocolea bidentata, Bifid Crestwort is delicate and translucent, pale green, with conspicuously bilobed leaves about 2 mm long.
  Shoots are 2–4 mm wide, and may grow several centimetres long.
  Its leaf lobes are long and drawn out into a narrow point.
  The underleaves are also bilobed, with an additional lateral tooth on each side.
  It is strongly aromatic, and often fertile, with toothed perianths.
  
  Occurring in a wide range of habitats: on the ground in woodland, grassland, and heathland, and also on other plants and rocks.
  This carpeting plant will grow over and around your other moss. Its light green color popping, in contrast, brings interest everywhere she goes.
  Attach her on rocks, or other substrates on vertical or horizontal is great for moist habitat terrariums.
  
  Historically, three taxonomic bryophyte groups have been recognized and now represent the three main divisions in this group: Marchantiophyta (liverworts), Bryophyta (mosses) and Anthocerotophyta (hornworts). The three main groups have diversified throughout their evolutionary history, making it difficult to identify the specific characters separating these three groups.
  The status of bryophytes as the oldest living land plants is widely accepted.
